The Big Idea:

So, Predasaurs (If you haven't heard of it) is an awesome thing that is Dinosaurs with weapons! :0 EPIC! There are currently two series, DNA Fusion and Insect Invasion. So far in the US only DNA Fusion is out. The big picture is there are three dino tribes: Cretaceous, Jurrasic, and Triassic. Each has a leader which are rare and there is the big rare one Vulltarex who is not in a tribe. They battle for control of the island and the power stones in the volcano which Vulltarex controls. Get the picture?

The Tin:

At Toys R Us I found this! It was $9.99 but worth it! It is really good mettalic and pictures on the front with parts that stick out like their teeth and weapons. It comes with three Predasaurs, one of which is special. The special one (At least that I got) is Kabell Special from the Cretaceous Tribe and all it is is a color change. Psst. Could of done better. The color change is cool though. It is a black and red version instead of blue and purple. Other than that it comes with two sealed Predasaur packs that contain random figures. The tin is the perfect thing for storage though. It can fit them well. Overall it is a good buy and you will not regret it! Well, unless you were hoping for an awesome special guy.

The Cage Set:

So today in Toys R Us i found this, the cage set!!! The other one they had was the volcano set which is pretty cool too. This was $10.99 including the cage and one figure. The cashier said $11.99 and I disagreed, showed her and she gave the price to me but said she needs a new label. So it will be $11.99. The cage is pretty awesome. Not $11 bucks though. It has lava on top of it which lights up (Not super spectacularly definatly better for dark) and opens. There are two ways of opening it, from the front which lifts up and down or it opens entirely in the middle and splits into 2 (See last pic). Overall a good set but a little overpriced. I wish Target carried more products. So far they only have the one pack. So a good set. Not a good bargain, but hey, it's cool to have an official Predasaur set.  

Insect Invasion

So, have you heard of the other Predasaur series, Insect Invasion? Well, it isn't in the U.S., only in Europe. But, my grandma went there and I GOT ONE!!! The idea of Insect invasion is that vicious dinos fused with insect DNA attack Predasaurea, the three tribes unite to fight back. So, luckily I got one of the Insectasaurs! His name is Omar, he is a Mantosaur. He is red with Mantus arms and has a red T-rex like head. He has a spiked back and has a plain red tail. Now, some of the new features of Insect Invasion are the new helmets and tail armor/weapons. They cost the same as the DNA Fusion do, they are EPIC! (Sorry couldn't get a pic worth posting but try searching on google for the specific Insectasaur or Predasaur).

VULLTAREX!!!

All right this time we got the big daddy. Against all odds, betting all the marbles, I got the rare, VULLTAREX! First off, people say his packag sticks out more than other Predasaurs. Well, that isn't exactly true. I seem to suspect if Vulltarex is in a specific position, his package may stick out more. But in some cases not really. So just a heads up. He is EPPPPIIIIICCCCC! We'll start at the weapon. Being the coolest of the four power stone weapons, it has an axe slightly smaller than Enok's, but only has the one sided axe. Then on the backside has a hammer lined with spikes. On the top a rather wide but leathal spear. On the end exactly like Hawa's weapon has a ball with spikes, but smaller than Hawa's. Then his stone. "Oh my precious..." It is primarily a rich purple when shone directly at you in light. When turned, in light or not, you usually get a dull blue or amber. When shone directly at you not in the light it is a dark purple to red. Now, his body is primarily tan. His arms are maybe a tiny bit bigger than a usual arm. His legs are definatly bigger than a regular one, but not by much. His body it VERY big and muscular. On the spine is red stegasaurus plates, and is surrounded by a rich dark blue. The blue goes in the center of the tail until the tip of it. The red plates get smaller the farther down the back and tail they go. At the end of the tail is two red spikes on each of the sides of his tail, exactly the same as Kirill's. Now the big bad head. It is HUGE. Compare it to Hwaron's head and it is at least three times wider. His teeth are HUMONGOUS. Two of his teeth if the mouth was closed would stick far out from the mouth like a saber tooth tiger. The head is tan and the blue from the back continues on the head in the middle. His eyes are similar to others. My camera is sort of bad so can't take a good pic, so look on google images, they have some good ones. Last thoughts, he is the biggest Predasaur, probably the next biggest ones Hawa and Kirill. The ONLY downside is at least for mine, the legs came just slightly off their normal pose. Sadly considering how much he and his weapons weigh, the slight change made it so he falls over when stood. I fought it though and constantly bent the leg the right way, it straightening out eventually. It still isn't perfect, but stands now. *IMPORTANT* If you get a Vulltarex and it's legs are odd, even slightly and it won't stand, straighten the leg and pose him in the position in which his head needs to be pointed in the highest position to assure standing.
